Extra Credit Assignment due by Friday 12/3

1. Research the Taj Mahal, which is in India. Write a paragraphy about the Taj, discussing when it was built, how long did it take to build, who built it and why, what is inside the Taj, and any other facts you could find about it. Your paragraph should go well beyond the basic facts that we discussed in class about it. (worth up to 20 points)


2. Research and write a one-page paper about Mohandas Gandhi, his importance to the Indian people and his accomplishments. This paper should go beyond the basic facts that are listed in the geography textbook. (worth up to 30 points)
