Unit on Africa begins on Monday, December 6

The students got started on a new unit today----AFRICA! The students completed a map of Africa in class today by labeling all of the countries and selected cities and bodies of water. This unit will begin by focusing on the physical features of Africa and basic facts about the continent and selected countries. The unit will include a country research partner project, whereby students in pairs will conduct research on a given country and present this research to the class and me. Stay tuned for more!
