Tonight's homework:

Spinoffs---we agreed in class today that a spinoff is something that is created as a result of something else.

Your assignment tonight: list as many "spinoffs" that occurred as a result of the automobile. This can include raw materials and resources that were now in high demand as a result of the automobile. A few examples:

Gas stations were now needed
Oil and gas were materials that were now in demand
Rubber was in demand due to tires on automobiles.

List as many spinoffs as you can, bullet format is acceptable.
