California Map Quiz set for Friday 2/18

There will be a map quiz of California on Friday, 2/18. Students should be reviewing their maps of California and need to be familiar with the locations and correct spelling of the following:

Mountains of California-----Sierra Nevada, Cascade, Coast Ranges, and Klamath Mountains

Rivers-----Sacramento, San Joaquin, and Colorado Rivers

Bodies of Water---San Francisco Bay, Monterey Bay, Mono Lake, Lake Tahoe, and the Salton Sea

Points of interest----Mohave Desert, Central Valley, Mount Whitney, Death Valley

Cities----San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose, Fresno, Los Angeles, San Diego, Monterey, Sacramento, and Palm Springs

Everything must be spelled correctly!!!
